Senior Pastor Brian Shearer

Brian met his high school sweetheart, Tami, on March 22, 1982. They were married two months after graduating high school on July 23, 1983. Brian joined the United Air Force in April 1986 and became a born again believer on January 19, 1999, while he and his family were assigned to Lajes Field, Azores. In June 1999 they were reassigned to F. E. Warren AFB, Cheyenne Wyoming. In September of that year, they began attending Calvary Chapel Cheyenne and Brian began teaching Sunday School in October. Since that time he has served in various other ministries including Youth Group Leader and sound ministry and has taught home Bible studies on a regular basis. Brian answered the call to serve as Elder in March of 2004. He retired from the United States Air Force in May of 2006 and was invited on staff in September of 2006 to serve as Associate Pastor. In May of 2007 Brian was led to come back to his hometown of Kennett and plant a church. Within 30 days, he and Tami sold their childcare business, their home in Cheyenne, and bought a home in Kennett. They arrived in Kennett in August 18, 2007. Brian and Tami are now in the process of planting a church as the Lord leads them.
